Peter Asmus
Peter Asmus is a freelance journalist based in Sacramento, California who
has spent more than a decade covering energy issues for a variety of
publications including the Los Angeles Times, Christian Science Monitor,
San Jose Mercury News, Amicus Journal, and others. He has edited university
policy journals, worked with non-profits promoting sustainable energy
policies, and investigated the political and regulatory antics of utility
monopolies. He is the co-author of Reinventing Electric Utilities (Island
Press, 1997) and In Search of Environmental Excellence.

Jonathan J. Bean is associate professor of history at Southern Illinois University, and is a specialist in corporate law and government regulation. Marion Nestle is Professor and Chair of the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies and New York University.
