Notable Talks, Panel Presentations, and Additional Resources Sayri Karp, Director, Editorial Universitaria, Universidad de Guadalajara, spoke on the panel "Publishing for the Americas" about university press publishing in Mexico. Foreign Printing and International Shipping Terms. Susie Scally, Vice President of Bookshippers Worldwide noticed at the 2005 Production Managers Meeting that the shipping terms used when printing books abroad are easily misunderstood or ignored by busy production departments. However, these terms can have important impacts on a press's bottom line and on a book's availability. She has written an informational piece on these foreign freight terms for AAUP members. Press Clips The Chronicle of Higher Education Sabre Foundation Ad Auction Each year, AAUP hosts an ad auction to benefit the book donation programs of the Sabre Foundation.
