The 2010 AAUP Annual Meeting will be held at the Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown

Hotel Reservations
There are currently no more rooms available at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at the group rate. The hotel is expecting a sellout during the nights of the AAUP meeting, so rooms at any rate may not be available at the Marriott. There may be room cancellations at however, so contact the Marriott first if you are interested in staying there.

Getting There

Air Travel
Salt Lake City International Airport is a Delta Airlines hub. Non stop service to Salt Lake City is available from over 90 cities. The airport is consistently ranked highly for on time performance.

AAUP attendees can receive a small discount on Delta, KLM, and Northwest airlines for travel from some hub cities to Salt Lake City. For reservations, call 1-800-328-1111 and refer to account code NM4HX.

Ground Transportation to Hotel from Airport
Downtown Salt Lake City is only 10 minutes from the airport (6 miles to the Marriott Downtown).

• Shuttle service is available through Xpress Shuttle. The fare is $8 each way. Make reservation in advance if possible. Call 801-596-1600/800-397-0773 or go to http://www.expressshuttleutah.com/
• Taxis are also available from the airport. The estimated cost is about $20 each way to the Marriott.
• City buses also run from the airport to downtown, though you may have to walk a bit from the downtown bus stop to the hotel. The fare is only $2.00 each way. You can plan your trip via public transportation here: http://www.rideuta.com/

Parking
On-site self-parking fees at the Marriott are $2 hourly and $12 daily. Off-site parking is $7 daily.

Transportation within Salt Lake City
Utah Transit Authority (UTA) operates light rail service (TRAX). There are stations within a short walk from the Marriott Downtown. You can ride free to locations within the downtown core. For maps and more information:
