Is it Real? . . . Or is it Proof? Keeping Up with Color Proofing
Not so long ago we relied on analog matchprints for color proofing. In the past few years new methods of color proofing have been developed: some good, some dubious. It is time to take a look at what the current ones are, and to find out how to get the results we want from them. We will also see a comparison of digital and offset printing results from the same color files.
Moderator: Will Powers (Design & Production Manager, Minnesota Historical Society Press) Panelists: Karen Schmidt (Production Manager, Getty Publications); Charlie Clark (Director, C&C Offset Printing); Bill Clockel (Chief Technology Officer, Integrated Book Technology)

Type, and much more.
