AAUP BOOK, JACKET, AND JOURNAL SHOW

Since 1965, the AAUP Book, Jacket, and Journal Show has fulfilled its mission to “honor and instruct”: honoring the design and production teams whose work furthers a long tradition of excellence in book design, and — through a traveling exhibit and acclaimed annual catalog of selected entries — visually teaching the tenets of good design. 2008 Book, Jacket, and Journal Show
Judging for the 2008 AAUP Book Jacket and Journal Show took place January 17-18 at the AAUP Central Office in New York City. Approximately 347 books, 374 jackets and covers, and 5 journals were entered. From this pool of excellent design, the jurors chose 44 books, 1 journals, and 31 jackets/covers as the very best examples. The 2008 Show will premiere at the AAUP Annual Meeting, June 26-29 in Montréal, Canada.

The 2007 Show, which premiered at the 2007 AAUP Annual Meeting, June 14-17, in Minneapolis, is now traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada.
